UPDATE: THESE BABIES STILL NEED HOMES!
You see these gorgeous little creatures? They were born in my backyard to a feral cat who isn’t too keen on humans (hence why they are outside still). While we are intent on keeping these babies with their mother as long as necessary it is very important to my family that we find loving forever homes for these babies! Miami has a pretty big cat problem, and as such there are few no-kill shelters and what shelters that do exist are at capacity. We will not let these cats go to the Humane Society, it is a high kill shelter and that is not an option. Now, we would gladly keep these cats ourselves, but we already have 7, all rescues. 3 of which are kittens who were in the same situation a few months ago but whose mother was more friendly and is also with us.
As you can tell the third kitten has an eye infection. We are treating her daily with eye medication and plan to care for her while she gets better while still keeping her with the mother (yes, I often have to sneak outside and run away with the baby because their mom really does not trust humans). They are about 3 weeks old at this point.
I need your help Tumblr! I need to find these kittens homes!! They’re beautiful and we are making sure they get used to human affection. PLEASE, IF YOU OR ANYBODY YOU KNOW IS ABLE TO HELP, MESSAGE ME! I am in the Miami/South Florida region!
